The Ajax FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke) Jeweller is an advanced wireless fire detector engineered for precise threat detection while minimizing false alarms. Equipped with a dual-spectrum optical sensor utilizing blue and infrared LEDs alongside the HazeFlow 2 algorithm, the detector ignores water steam and cooking fumes, while its dustproof and insect-proof chamber eliminates the need for regular clean-ups. Heat detection is managed by two external thermistors that trigger an alarm if temperatures exceed $+64^\circ\text{C}$ or spike by more than $10^\circ\text{C}$ in a single minute.

Designed for effortless installation, the unit mounts easily via the SmartBracket panel, allowing post-mounting $90^\circ$ leveling adjustments. The detector uses Jeweller two-way radio protocol, maintaining a communication range of up to 1,700 meters from an Ajax hub and enabling interconnected alarm activation across all system detectors in under 20 seconds. Available in two hardware variants—Replaceable Battery (RB, up to 7 years) and Sealed Battery (SB, 10-year lifespan)—it provides complete flexibility for residential and commercial fire protection.
