The Ultracell UL9-12 is a general-purpose VRLA rechargeable battery engineered to deliver reliable performance in floating or cyclic applications. Operating at a nominal voltage of $12\text{ V}$ with a $9.0\text{ Ah}$ 20-hour rate capacity, it features non-spillable construction allowing safe operation in any position. Standard models are built with ABS housing, with an optional flame-retardant (UL94:V0) container available.

The battery delivers high discharge efficiency with low internal resistance ($\sim 18\text{ m}\Omega$) and a maximum discharge current of $127.5\text{ A}$ ($5\text{ s}$). It is equipped with standard F2 terminals (with F1 available as an option) and provides a design float life of up to 5 years at $20^\circ\text{C}$. Self-discharge is minimized, allowing storage up to 6 months at $25^\circ\text{C}$ before requiring a refresh charge.
