The Knight YEND74 surface magnetic contact provides perimeter monitoring for doors and windows in commercial and high-security residential applications. Constructed from durable ABS plastic housing with a rhodium reed switch and a ferrite magnet, the device incorporates dual reed switches—one for standard contact operation ($15\text{ mm}$ make, $25\text{ mm}$ break) and one specifically dedicated to detecting magnetic interference attempts.

To streamline installation across different alarm control panel platforms, the YEND74 features an integrated multi-resistor PCB with straightforward pin jumpers. Installers can configure pre-set EOL and alarm resistor combinations (such as Honeywell, Cooper, Siemens, RISCO, DSC, and others) or bypass resistors for traditional 4-wire wiring.
